Repsher Physical Therapy is seeking a motivated, personable Physical Therapist to join our established outpatient practice in Albany, New York.

We are looking for a clinician who values individualized patient care, clinical autonomy, collaboration, and continued professional growth. Our therapists work with a diverse outpatient population in an environment that provides the resources and flexibility to deliver high-quality care based on each patient's individual needs and goals.

The Position

As a Physical Therapist at Repsher Physical Therapy, you will evaluate and treat patients across a broad range of orthopedic, musculoskeletal, neurological, balance, and vestibular conditions.

Our therapists work with patients throughout the rehabilitation process—from initial evaluation and early recovery through advanced strengthening and return to work, recreation, fitness, and sport.

We value clinical judgment and individualized treatment. Our therapists have the autonomy to develop and progress plans of care based on the needs and goals of each patient rather than following a standardized approach to rehabilitation.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care

• Provide evidence-based treatment utilizing therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, functional training, and other appropriate interventions

• Progress patients safely through rehabilitation toward their individual functional goals

• Educate patients regarding their condition, treatment plan, home exercise program, and strategies for long-term success

• Utilize available rehabilitation technology and equipment when clinically appropriate

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals as appropriate

• Work collaboratively with our therapists and support staff to provide an excellent patient experience

Qualifications

We are looking for a Physical Therapist who combines strong clinical skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities and who takes pride in providing high-quality patient care.

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program

• Current New York State Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure

• Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Commitment to individualized, patient-centered care

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

• Interest in continued professional and clinical development

Our 7,000-square-foot outpatient facility provides our therapists with the space and resources to progress patients across the full continuum of rehabilitation—from early recovery through advanced strength, balance, mobility, and functional training.

Therapists have access to a broad range of rehabilitation and performance equipment and technology, including:

• Biodex Balance System

• Guldmann ceiling-mounted safety harness and mobility system

• LightForce therapeutic laser

• Blood flow restriction training

• Surface EMG biofeedback

• Game Ready cold and compression therapy

• Dedicated strength and functional training equipment

These resources are available for our therapists to incorporate based on their clinical judgment and the individual needs of their patients.

Position Details

Full-Time Physical Therapist

Location: Albany, NY
Employment: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Start Date: Flexible

Compensation: $80,000–$95,000 annually, commensurate with experience
